Tyranny of the Senses
Is an experimental work that physically explores some of my biggest interests: movement, body awareness and connectivity. There is a huge number of chemical connections igniting a multitude of responses in our brain since we are in the womb. The information collected by our sensory receptors enable us to define the world around us allowing to create our own ideas of reality. Sometimes very accurately and sometimes not so much...
The music and video imagery was especially created for this piece by Brian McWhorter and John Park Oregon-based artists and University of Oregon faculty professors.
